Saudi Arabia’s Digital Acceleration program aligns with the KSA national vision 2030 and NTP 2020 and aims to deliver the following outcomes
Increase foreign direct investment from 3.8% to the international level of 5.7% of GDP by attracting a significant investment in the forms of PPPs, VCs, start-ups and new consumption models
Lower the rate of unemployment from 11.6% to 7% and to increase employment opportunities across the Kingdom for various skillsets across all sectors
Provide opportunities for younger citizens to participate in the digital economy and foster digital innovation via seeding, incubating and accelerating start-ups
Increase SME contribution to GDP from 20% to 35%
Improve healthcare systems using digital technologies by promoting competition and transparency among providers. This will enhance the capability, efficiency and productivity of care and treatment and increase the options available to citizens. The main aim is to increase the average life expectancy from 74 years to 80 years
Support the economic development of the Kingdom industries through a state-wide digitization program and increase the competitiveness of the Kingdom at a national and global level in order to rise from the current position of 25 to the top 10 countries on the Global Competitiveness Index
Raise the share of non-oil exports in non-oil GDP from 16% to 50%
