Our digital transformation as well as our personal data
The arrival of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the 25th May has set the tone of one of our main themes: Cybersecurity
Eric Greffier, Managing Director of Cisco France has appeared on stage in order to tackle the stakes of Digital Transformation within companies and organisations. More precisely, the development of client experience, management of connected terminals as well as the anticipation of cyber security risks to come in this new age.
In order to protect data and avoid cyber attacks, Cisco is constantly expanding its portfolio when it comes to security technology: a set of integrated and automised simple solutions that cover the protection of datas and the stored applications on the wide spread networking, right up to those stored on the Cloud.
Philippe Roggeband, Manager at Cisco Security Sales, thoroughly explained the ins and outs of the GDPR, the new European norm protecting your data.

Our lab at VivaTech was home to several AI (Artificial Intelligence) applications serving to detect cyber threats. We also had the pleasure of welcoming Startups who, one after another, presented their expertise in cybersecurity. Some of the startups included:
Cisco tirelessly continues to develop innovative solutions with the aim of devising an increasingly intuitive network. Showcased at VivaTech, our intuitive network never ceases to learn, adapt and analyze the data crossing your network. By integrating Cisco ETA (Encrypted Traffic Analytics) this system monitors the behaviour of IP packets, while continuously collecting external signs and comparing them, in real time, to library of patterns adopted by malware. Cyber attacks are thus stopped in their tracks, before they have time to act.
