As part of Cisco’s vision to accelerate Digital Rajasthan and support the State Government’s vision of having at least one e-literate woman in every household, Cisco has announced setting up of video-enabled digital classrooms in women’s colleges, to cover 10,000 students over four years, across rural and urban areas of Rajasthan. The digital classrooms are aimed at empowering women students and preparing them for the digital era by facilitating their training for development of IT skills. The initiative will help the state by enhancing the pool of available skilled workforce and shall directly contribute to employment and the state GDP. The offered solution, based on the Cisco collaboration architecture, is best-in-class and first-of-its-kind in the country.
