With the launch of the Cisco Data Center Anywhere campaign at Cisco Live in Barcelona we also updated the “always on” Data Center Campaign with the new message: Cisco Data Center. Its everywhere your data is. We rolled-out 3 new storypages which are aligned to our Data Center buyers need and care-abouts.
Our DC Hub page has been updated with new content about data center innovations (ACI and HyperFlex Anywhere, and we launched the new storypages: Modernise, Automate and Protect in the UKI in April. Local Pages are available and live in Switzerland, Austria, Russia and Poland and soon available in France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Israel and Portugal.
We also worked on new E-Mails which are part of the “always-on” Data Center Buyer E-Mail Nurture Journey covering news about Cisco ACI, Cisco HyperFlex and our Hybrid Cloud Security Protection solutions.

I remember my first day in Cisco, a few months ago… and the case studies and customer references were already there! Not yet as a consolidated reality, but as a desire or, even, a challenging goal. The message was clear: the Sales team is getting amazing wins… so, let´s work together and promote them!
Our first step was to define what a “Case Study” and what a “Customer Reference” is: - Case Studies are perfect to explain and promote the most complex and relevant Cisco´s wins - And Customer References are perfect to make a short, fast and very efficient promotion of our “second-level” wins, via our webpage, our blogs and our social media channels
As the process for the Case Studies is set up and managed by our amazing EMEAR team, we focused on the customer references. We started to work hand in hand with our colleagues from Sales, to define a fast and effective process.
And we did it! We managed to reduce the SLA to less than a week after the customer agreement has been signed and the customer reference is up & running online and is promoted via our social media channels. That was our first great news!
It´s been a few weeks since the launch and the performance is great. With only organic promotion, we had a reach of nearly 400K and more than 200 persons shared the stories. We also have implemented dedicated web pages, in order to store all our customer references and case studies to further increase our website traffic and engagements.
And, as always, the best is yet to come. We are working on new Swiss case studies and customer references, together with Sales. Stay tuned for what´s coming!
