We are all very proud of working for Cisco and we all shout it out loud in SoMe but as we always say, it´s better that others say how good we are, like customers with success stories. This time and having the Best Place to Work ceremony near, we wanted to do something different in Spain and ask our kids why they like their parents working for Cisco. It was a great experience recording with all of them, their imagination, energy and willingness to say all they had in their minds was fun. We had to shorten and even so, we had to do two videos as one would have been too long.
We used #LoveWhereMyParentsWork

End of April we hosted the “Girls Day” in the Cisco Office in Vienna. 10 girls took the chance to learn more about our company and the role of women in tech. We offered various "hands-on" workshops with a focus on the digital experience.
The girls have been able to learn about the advantages of our collaboration tools, meet our colleagues via video conferring around the globe and also be aware of cybersecurity and how to protect their data in the Social Media environment.
In the afternoon we told the story of Cisco – a Lovestory. We also explained aim of the “Bridge to Possible” campaign. The world is changing and lives on connections and bridges. Whether you are a large company, medium-sized enterprise, university, government agency, hospital or start-up, you are all wondering "How can I get my big vision from here?" The answer: With Cisco. The Bridge to Possible tells these stories. A global enterprise across the different architectures and industries. In every country, in every industry, in every architecture, our technologies harness the bridges to make the impossible possible.
We finished the day with pizza, many discussions, Cisco cake pops and enthusiasm and interest in professions in IT. The Girls Day has come to an end, we look forward to the next.
You can read about it more on the German blog!
