What will we apply ALM to?

ALM will be synonymous with offers that put the customers first. In 2019, we tested ALM with a number of pilots – SD WAN Security Integration, C9300 Wireless Controller, and CloudCenter Suite 5.0. Based on those learnings, ALM Wave 1 was initiated in early 2019 beginning with a few select offers. These include technology plays targeted at specific market segments.

As we roll out our ALM model across the portfolio we'll gain deeper insight into customer needs so we evolve and improve offers at the right time – to meet a current or nascent need or opportunity.

The roll-out will be supported by our Rhythm of the Business model - this creates a scheduled structure for teams across our organization to share information, align efforts and drive progress towards strategic goals which include ALM.

ALM Assured

ALM will be an assured feature of our offerings. From a field and partner perspective, this provides a commitment that the value chain has completed a customer outcome, use case, and readiness assessment. And, a risk mitigation plan is in place.
