Additional featuresBecause the virtual classroom solution was such a success, the country decided to further its investment in Cisco CADI services. It sought guidance on what more it could do to support and compliment the solution now in place (rather than further extend it to additional areas).In understanding what the country’s requirements and desires were, the CADI team determined that customized bots would be helpful in creating better experiences for both students and teachers. Two bots were then installed. The first bot, VBrick Recording, helps to record meetings easier. The second bot was Smart Wallboard, which involves virtual, real-time handwritten notes. The Smart Wallboards bot enabled users to save the whiteboards as images to a local location where they could be easily added to documents and printed.Unforeseen benefitsTeachers noticed that these saved images were instrumental to those who did not have access to Webex Teams, yet facilitated their learning nevertheless.How the Smart Wallboard works:

A teacher adds the bot as a member to the Webex Teams space that contains the whiteboards he or she needs to save

The user creates or edits the whiteboard

The user clicks “Post snapshot” and mentions the bot through an @ sign to save it

How the VBrick Recording Bot works:

Start a room call in Webex Teams

Type a message to the Record Bot: @Record start recording

When the call is complete, end the call in Webex Teams and the recording will stop as well

The recording link will be provided when the recording begins so users can find it easier after a call

These extra additions to the virtual school helped provide further efficiency and productivity to students and created a state of innovative education.
