At Cisco, we believe that a culture of recognition is central to the employee experience and our company’s overall success. We empower employees to recognize their colleagues for the excellent work being done across the business through our Connected Recognition program. We also encourage employees to share their own innovative ideas – and be recognized for them – with Cisco Bold Bets.
The Value of Diversity and Inclusion A diverse workforce and inclusive culture positively impact decision-making, innovation, and financial performance. Cisco’s corporate approach is to focus on technology, sponsorship, and community building to ensure we’re building balanced teams, representative of full-spectrum diversity. The mission of the Women in Collaboration group is to empower, strengthen, inspire and connect women in Cisco Collaboration. We strive to enable women to grow their careers, develop skills, build a strong network, access new opportunities, share our learnings and experiences, and most importantly, have fun!
We believe that even the smallest change can make an impact. This program strives to make an impact for both mentors and mentees with a focus on helping women succeed.
Participants will set SMART Goals that they plan to accomplish by the end of the program. Goals can range from skill development to exploring new roles when trying to decide on making a career change. For Mentors, this program offers the opportunity to share their knowledge, demonstrate leadership skills, and improve soft skills like listening and increasing emotional intelligence.
