Cisco Announces Intent to Acquire SentryoCisco announced its intent to acquire Sentryo, a Lyon, France-based Industrial IoT cybersecurity company that provides asset visibility and security solutions for industrial control system (ICS) networks.Sentryo and Cisco previously partnered to incorporate Sentryo’s Edge Sensor into Cisco industrial networking hardware using Cisco’s IOx application framework bringing device-level visibility to the IoT edge and enabling organizations to secure their industrial environments.

Q: Why is now the right time to acquire Sentryo?
A: The Internet of Things delivers potential for increased operational productivity, deep intelligence, and additional revenue creation.
