If a public sector customer needs to have physical paper
evidence of all licenses, is it possible to access these
documents from within the Smart Account?
|
We send out a Right to Use license document for all Smart Licensed products, either in physical form or downloadable and printable via eDelivery. It is part of the order, even though the licenses automatically provision to the customer’s Smart Account.
|
Cisco’s policy of mandating a Smart Account prior to an EA proposal is creating confusion in the field for government greenfield opportunities. We cannot trigger an email to a greenfield customer to activate a Smart Account at the
RFP stage. How should this be handled?
|
We should message the customer during the EA discovery
phase that the process will require a Smart Account and an
email will be triggered. No action is needed until the opportunity gets booked. The customer should save the email to activate
once the EA is booked.
