Let your teams know the date of the update - right in the Jabber app. Use our template to create a custom tab in Jabber that leads users to a landing page detailing what’s to come. You can download the .html for the landing page if you prefer hosting it locally.
Use the attached files to populate the tab. The files have also been localized!
You configure who gets the tab to suit your deployment schedule.
Consult the Jabber config guide for more details
When opening Teams for the first time, your users will be guided by native self-help mini tours to create a better first-time experience.
We recommend you create a Welcome to Teams Space and let your people know where they can get guidance.
Use our provided prompts or create your own.
1. Create a Space called "Welcome to Teams!" and in Settings select Moderate space and Turn on announcement mode
2. Use the Add people function to add your users to this space
3. Use the sample welcome messages to send a message
4. If you are adding users in phases, add them to this space when you are ready. They will see the welcome message you previously sent!

Your email should include:
1 What should the subject line be? Come up with a snappy title that will make your colleagues open your email.
2 What is changing in Cisco Jabber? Introduce Webex Teams and the reason why you have chosen it. As it’s a replacement of an older or existing service, be clear on how Webex Teams is an improvement to how they work today.
3 Why? Talk about the business goals and strategies you have, and why enabling employees with Webex Teams will help you achieve them.
4 How? Let users know what they can expect over the next few weeks and actions they need to take.
5 Who should send this? A recognized figure in the organization, ideally a senior member of staff or someone who is widely respected.
6 Who should sign off? If an executive is sending the email, you may want to have their assistant or executive communications team review first.
What should the reply address be? Most executives don’t have time to reply to questions and comments coming back from employees. Configure the email to have a different reply address, ideally, a mailer that a team can monitor and respond to.
