What do I do if I can’t connect to the Webex Board?
Click Search for a Device, a PIN number will appear on the Webex Board. Enter the PIN into the Webex Teams app and the devices will be paired.

What email address do I use to log into Cisco Webex Teams?

Can anybody in my Space start a meeting?
Anyone can start a meeting in a Space at any time they choose.

Can I use another webcam other than the integrated one for my calls?
You can indeed use another webcam. Click your profile picture, then Settings and Video. Under Camera, in the drop-down menu, select the webcam you want to use.* Note, make sure the webcam you want to use is connected to your computer and not being used by another application.

I cannot hear when someone is calling me / People hear me from very far / I hear people speaking through my computer and not my headset
Your audio settings have not been configured for your specific needs. Click the profile picture, then Settings and Audio.

If people hear you very faint, under Microphone select in the drop-down menu the device you want to use as microphone.
If you hear people through the computer speaker instead of your headset, under Speaker in the drop-down menu, select your headset.
If you do not hear incoming calls, under Ringer make sure the system default is selected. You might also want to check under Notifications if the direct calls notifications to make sure they have not been switched off.

Is there an easy way to find previously shared posts or documents?
Finding documents, messages and Spaces is easy in Webex Teams. Click the Search bar and enter your search terms. As you type, Webex Teams will present search results grouped into Spaces, messages and files to help you pinpoint what you are looking for.
You can also use the Refine your search functionality and click:
• “In:” to find something in a specific Space.
• “From:” to search messages or content sent by a specific person.

What is the difference between a Space and a Team?
A Space is a place designed for a group of people to work together, where their focus is narrow and specific. Everyone who is part of that Space is involved in all its aspects. Spaces might be used for short and long-term projects. However, if the original intention changes and grows, you can move the Space into a team.

A team is a place that helps you keep everything organised by putting multiple Spaces under a common theme. Teams are ideal for a consistent group of people who are going to be working for a long time on something that might be complicated and involve a lot of activities or could be sub-projects happening at the same time. Every team has at least one Space called General, where everybody invited to the team is also added too. As a Team member, you can view and join all Spaces in the team, create new Spaces and invite others to join.
