Accessing Marketing Velocity Central

Cisco internal: To access Marketing Velocity Central, visit https://marketingvelocitycentral.cisco.com/ and select your preferred Region (AMER, EMEA, APJ, GC) and Partner type (Partner, Distributor) on the Cisco Employee Access page

Partners: For partner users to gain access to Marketing Velocity Central, first they must have a Cisco login and password. They can use Partner Self Service to set up their account and to associate themselves to their employer’s company account. Once they have a Cisco login and password, they can visit https://marketingvelocitycentral.cisco.com/. If partner users are still unable to log in, please reach out to Cisco Marketing Velocity Central Support.

Partner Admin Role = has access to partner company level settings in Marketing Velocity Central, plus access to all marketing content and the ability to activate digital campaigns in MVC.

Marketing Role = has access to all marketing content and the ability to activate digital campaigns in MVC

Sales Representative Role = has access only to their assigned leads’ profiles and event timelines in the Contact views

Funding = both Admin and Marketing users with access to Cisco Funds Manager can view their company’s available Cisco co-marketing funds in MVC.

Sharing Marketing Velocity Central hyperlinks

Cisco employees can share direct links from Marketing Velocity Central with partners. There are internal links for Cisco employees and deep links for partners.The partner must have the correct permissions and settings (region, partner type, language preference) to view the corresponding page in MVC.

Cisco users can use the same URL to view the page in MVC. To view the page with the main MVC site navigation, Cisco users must first log into the corresponding region (APJC) and partner type (Partner, Distributor) through the Employee Experience access page.

Marketing Velocity Central Generated Leads

Leads generated from the activated content within the MVC co-branded campaigns
Contacts are captured via form submissions on syndicated content
- Form Fill: any submission from a standard marketing form from an email, landing page or social media
- Event Registration: any submission from a webinar offered in MVC
All MVC forms have the following required fields:
- First Name, Last Name, Email, Company, Country

To convert a contact into lead in MVC

Proceed to Leads
Select Leads
Select the contact for lead conversion
Select Edit Details
Input pipeline value and technology to the lead record as seen here

In our hybrid world, webinars and virtual events have become an essential marketing tactic and a bigger part of marketing strategies — offering an economical but engaging way to deliver thought leadership, create new leads, and build loyalty in lieu of in-person events. Use on-demand webinars, or partner hosted live webinars available that can be managed within MVC and Webex Event Center.

Get Some Extra Help with the Agency Operating Model

Who doesn’t need a little extra help sometimes? With our Agency Operating Model in MVC, you can use Agency Locator or Agency Assistance to give your company an extra edge when it comes to generating additional creative assets or even using MVC. Agency Locator

With agency locator on MVC, search for agencies in your area to help with marketing activities from video creation and copy writing to paid search and social. In this directory, simply click on the tiles to see the agency’s offering and then directly connect with the agency by clicking on the “contact” button.

Agency Assistance

This feature lets you grant your trusted agency access to your Marketing Velocity Central account, so they can perform marketing activities on your behalf like:

Activating campaigns Customizing collateral
Managing your social media posts
