Cisco and NTT explain how you can create a secure, superior network that will deliver a seamless, inclusive experience for today's hybrid workplace.
How can organizations support hybrid work models that require seamless, frictionless, and inclusive employee and customer experiences on any device, from anywhere, at any time, and at scale? It starts with a powerful network that also offers greater visibility—seeing more so IT departments can solve more. That means gaining a better understanding of the interactions and interdependencies across the entire network, including security, operations, and, even more importantly, applications.

The way we work has changed. Hybrid work environments with a mix of employees working from anywhere–home, cafes, and on campus–is the new standard. And IT teams must now adapt to a new standard of their own:
Maintaining a secure and seamless experience for business continuity and resiliency
Establishing visibility and insights into remote work patterns and on-campus environments to inclusively connect, secure, and automate remote enterprise traffic
Ensuring a safe physical workspace for employees returning to the office
The need for a secure and agile network has never been more important. Hybrid work solutions must be powered by a network that offers flexibility, security, remote access, and visibility from a single pane of glass for monitoring application performance and employee experience across all devices.
After experiencing more than two years of a pandemic, organizations are reevaluating their hybrid workplace, remote work, and return-to-office strategies and policies. A clear gap has emerged between leadership’s perceptions and expectations, employee well-being and work requirements, and IT’s readiness. According to recent research by NTT and Cisco on global workplace trends:

Meeting the demands of the hybrid workforce will require a sustained commitment from organizations. According to recent research, 48 percent of CIOs predict that more than half of their IT budget will be used to bring pandemic technology investments to their full potential.1
Data from the NTT 2021 Global Workplace Report shows that strategies and expectations for future of work models are not defined across the board.
Operating models need to accommodate employee preferences and workstyles while enabling organizational accountability and agility.
