Cisco Live 2019, Barcelona is Cisco’s biggest customer event in EMEAR. On January 28 – February 1, thousands of technology enthusiasts and innovators will come together for a transformational experience that includes visionary keynotes, hundreds of educational sessions, Cisco’s top partners, and numerous opportunities to build the connections that will fuel personal and professional growth.
In previous years, the focus and emphasis of the event was on Cisco and what Cisco does for the IT community. Last year, with the ‘You’re IT’ theme, we shifted our emphasis away from a corporate theme and instead focused it squarely on IT. This year, we continue that focus.
We want to inspire the delegates by letting them know that from here on out, their job is more important than ever before.
Here’s how you can help
Registration for Cisco Live is open on the event website, and you can help us spread the word by promoting the event in your country. Go to the Cisco Live EMEAR Community where we will post the latest info in the lead up to the event. This is also where you will find a Marketing Toolkit to get you started – it contains email templates, email signature, posters, digital assets, social media content, and more. Any questions? October is the European Cybersecurity Awareness Month, an EU awareness campaign that promotes cyber security among citizens and organizations about the importance of information security and highlighting the simple steps that can be taken to protect their data, whether personal, financial and/or professional.
Cisco is supporting this campaign and will be participating in some of the events that will take place in Europe. Also we´ve built a hub where we will provide high-quality and engaging security content with the goal of raising awareness.
On the hub you’ll find one video that includes an interview with several of our cyber experts (in many different fields) talking about how they got into the industry, and what advice they have for others who may want to get into it too.
You’ll also find articles ranging from insights into the most popular cyber scams, to three key technologies that are set to change the face of cyber security forever, a blog about why cyber security is everyone´s responsibility, plus a quiz that will allow you to see where you sit on the Security Maturity Index.
Finally we have links to two free cyber security courses run by the NetAcademy, and links to events that are happening around EMEAR during October.
