Why the LoveWhereYouWork Month?
Bring to life our culture and build one strong team.
30 volunteers organized 20 activities to challenge ourselves, learn and practice, use our “Time2Give”, improve our well-being and… have fun!
Many initiatives took place: TrekToPossible (featured on the Cisco Beat with Gerri!), Jessie Pavelka’s visit, a cybersecurity training to better understand Talos and 5G, a roundtable to reduce our environmental impact, a Handy Day to raise awareness on inclusion and diversity, and many giving back activities (500 kgs of food donated to a French charity helping fight poverty = enough to prepare meals for 2 full weeks)…
All of that thanks to the involvement of our incredible Cisco volunteers and the support of French management.

A special and unique day for Cisco French employees with many activities. We were able to:
All those activities were also made possible thanks to our strong French CSR team!

“Cisco technology gives value to people, is really innovative, respects and supports the environment and, last but not least, it favours the taste for beauty that permeates the products we make but also the environment where we work”.

… and creates a group of inspiring, talented and great marketing people who work on Culture within EMEAR Marketing. When we think about our culture, we want a culture of trust, progress, recognition, help & inclusion. We started our conversation with a brainstorming and the question:
What is culture? What does it mean for me and for us?
Having had very good discussions, we defined 4 pillars and within each pillar our challenges to be addressed next fiscal year:
Inclusion – Sales and Marketing & Communication are ONE team, let’s bring us closer together!
Routine – Let’s disrupt routines to enable innovation and creativity!
Silos – Let’s step out of our local silos and be a region and global team and share our expertise to benefit everyone!
Development – Let’s get clarity and establish processes for long-term mentorships and talent development!
"A nation's culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people.”
