It has been a huge year for hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) as sales surpassed $3.7 billion in 2017, up 64 per cent from 2016. Crucially, Cisco’s next-generation HCI, HyperFlex, hit the 2000-customer mark. HyperFlex is the only system in the market to include compute, storage and network. It’s key we take advantage of the stellar growth we’re seeing.
Of course, it’s not only about having the best technology. It’s about being able to show how our customers are benefiting from it. Which is why we’re over the moon to publish two new case studies about the success of HyperFlex at British retail icon Liberty London, and Scotland’s largest personal injury firm Digby Brown Solicitors. With more in the pipeline and PR activity on going, these UK case studies also form part of the global HyperFlex customer stories campaign that’s underway in key markets.
In a further important step, the UKI is about to go live with a pilot of the first DC Buyer journey in EMEAR, with 5 pages fully refreshed and equipped with content, touch point strategy and email nurture journeys. The UK data centre and cloud pages have already seen a surge in traffic in Q3 with the number of first time visits to the UKI data centre pages up a whopping 457 per cent (see chart), while bounce rates have remained below the 50% mark.
The digital journey continues…

Objective: To position Cisco as a strategic business partner with an engagement strategy addressing the key careabouts of the CIO.
Focusing on audience needs/wants/demands, we have built a space on cisco.com and an always-on journey to engage the CIO in topics aligned with the following key careabouts:
We will use and expand on this journey to influence the influencer by encouraging CIOs to share content and perspectives with their teams. This Digital Transformation Hub for Executives is live in EMEAR English across 11 countries. UK, UAE, South Africa, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, BeLux, Denmark, Norway & Finland. And will be extended to Germany and France through Q4.
We are activating organic promotion to drive awareness and traffic to our Digital Transformation Hub, including social, re-engagement with “opted-in” CIOs, search optimisation and easing navigation from local country homepages.
Our next steps will be to monitor traffic and draw up optimisation plans, which will be implemented in-line with a content refresh in Q1 FY19 Q1.
