Today, interaction between users and online content is becoming increasingly complicated, with growing demands for streaming of longer and more video content across multiple devices. Coupled with the increasing need for speed and better user experiences, existing cloud-based computing architectures are unable to cope with the explosive growth in data volume.
As such, edge computing is becoming an increasingly viable solution for enterprises as it distributes computing power to the edge. This shift has allowed OTT providers to transform, improve content delivery and reach new markets.
