People Insights profiles will appear in Control Hub with a default setting of "Show public data."

Which customers are eligible for People Insights?

People Insights profiles are available for Webex Meetings and Webex. People Insights profiles are available in Jabber for organizations that have enabled team messaging mode .

People Insights profiles are currently only available in English.

Show or hide public information in People Insights profiles

People Insights profiles may contain publicly available information, similar to what can be found in search engine results for a person’s name. Users have control over any public information that appears on their profile. Admins can choose to hide public information from users within their organization.

1. From the customer view in https://admin.webex.com, go to Settings.
2. Under People Insights > Profiles, turn off the switch beneath Show public data.

How to set up your organization’s directory for People Insights

To display your organization’s Active Directory information within People Insights, you must first enable directory synchronization.

Once directory synchronization is enabled, the following Active Directory fields will populate People Insights profiles:

Address: City and country are required to display the time zone and weather.

Title: Will improve the quality of public information displayed in profiles.

Manager: Ensures that your internal reporting structure can be displayed to users within your organization.
