Getting Started with the Webex Meetings mobile app

Download the Webex Meetings mobile app

Make it easy to host and attend meetings using your mobile device, by downloading the Cisco Webex Meetings app.

Go to Google Play Store for Android, or App Store for iPhone and iPad.
Search for Webex.
Download Cisco Webex Meetings.
Open the app.
Log in using the email address associated to your Webex account if you have one. If you do not have a Webex account, no need to log in.

Customize your settings

Once logged into the Webex Meetings app, customize your settings, for you:

1. Open the Cisco Webex Meetings mobile app.
2. Tap the cogged wheel at the top left corner of the screen.
3. Tap General and switch on Clear Webex History, Clear Shared Files and the Upcoming Meetings notifications.
4. Tap the back arrow at the top left corner of the app.
5. Tap Audio & Video.
6. Tap Automatic Connection to select your preferred audio.
7. Tap the back arrow at the top left corner of the app.
8. Select if you want to use mobile data when you are not at Wi-Fi.
9. Tap the back arrow at the top left corner of the app.
10. Tap Meeting List, to select your preferred calendar integration(s).
11. Tap the back arrow at the top left corner of the app.
12. Tap Done.

Schedule and invite paricipants

To schedule a meeting and invite participants while you are on the go:

1. Open the Cisco Webex Meetings app on your mobile.
2. Swipe from left to right.
3. Tap the + icon on the top right corner in the app.
4. Tap to edit the Meeting Name, Date, Time and Duration.
5. Tap Invitees to add the people you want to invite to your meeting.
6. Tap Done.
7. Tap Schedule on the top right corner in the app.

Note: To make sure your meeting appear in your calendar you must make sure you accept the invitation you receive.

Start and join a meeting

To Start or join a meeting when you are logged into the mobile app:

1. Open the Cisco Webex Meetings app.
2. Swipe from left to right.
3. Tap the Start or the Join button behind the meeting name.
4. Join the audio
a. If you selected Call Over Internet in the settings, this will happen automatically.
b. If you selected Call Me in the settings, you will need to answer the incoming call. Note: Your access code will be automatically added.
c. If you selected Call in in the settings, you will need to tap call in the pop up.
5. Tap the notification on top of the screen to return to the meeting screen, or reopen the Webex Meetings app.
6. Tap the video icon.
7. Tap Start my video.

Note: If your meeting invitation contains a large amount of text scroll down to find the meeting link.

Record the meeting from your mobile phone

To start, pause, and restart a recording:

Tap the More icon in the upper right corner of the screen, then tap Record to start recording after the meeting starts. The recording indicator appears.
To pause recording, tap the More icon, then tap Pause.
To restart the recording, tap the More icon, then tap Resume.
After the meeting ends, you will receive an email with information about accessing the meeting recording.

Note: If you are signed in, you can share recording links to others via email by tapping the Share button from your host recording list.
