You can start video and audio calls with individuals from 1:1 spaces.
There are different ways to call in Webex. One easy way is to:
Click the Search field.
Start typing the name of the person or space you want to call.
Click the name of the person or space in the results list.
Click the Audio Call or Video Call icon at the top right of the space.
When you receive a call, you’ll see a notification allowing you to:
You can schedule a meeting directly from a space. Need to escalate from messaging to a meeting? You can also initiate an ad-hoc meeting by clicking Meet in your space.
Click the Schedule tab.
Click Schedule a meeting.
Click Open. This will open an invitation in your calendar app.
Enter the meeting title, date, and time.
Click Send.
Tip: Any member of the space can start the meeting.
When using the desktop Webex app, click the Meetings tab.
If you have Outlook, it will automatically open a new calendar invite and auto-populate the Webex invite information.
If you have either the Webex Meeting Scheduler for Microsoft Office 365 or the Webex Productivity Tools add-in, you can schedule your meeting directly in Outlook.
Tip: If you don't have Outlook installed, just copy the meeting details into a calendar invitation and send it to the people in your space via email.
Select a meeting template and enter the meeting information into the invite.
Invite the attendees by email address and then click Schedule.
When a call is running in a space, you may wish to invite someone as a guest but not add them to the space. To do this when on the call:
Click the "..." icon in the meeting window.
Click Invite guests to meeting.
Type the name of the person you want to invite or their email address.
Whiteboards are powerful and simple tools to convey visual ideas and brainstorm on projects. Within Webex you can share whiteboards both during and outside a meeting.
Click New whiteboard.
Use the annotation tool to draw on the whiteboard. You can also continue an existing whiteboard previously shared in the space.
Click the space where you want to share the whiteboard.
Click the Content tab.
Click Whiteboards.
Click New whiteboard. Alternatively, you could re-open a whiteboard already shared in that space.
Use the annotation tools to draw on the whiteboard.
Click the Share icon.
Click Post snapshot for your whiteboard to appear in the chat thread.
In Webex you can share your screen with others, including streaming videos. Share your screen during a meeting or even in 1:1 spaces outside, of a call.
Click the Share screen icon.
If you are planning to share a video, check Share computer audio and Optimize for video on top of the screen.
Select the screen you want to show.
Click Stop in the orange bar to stop sharing.
