You’re probably getting overwhelmed with the volume of new and existing applications you need to offer and support.
And maybe you’ve been wondering if your infrastructure can adapt to match the speed of your business— whether deploying enterprise applications or containers in your core data center at the edge or in multicloud environments. [RightScale’s 2017 State of the Cloud Survey showed 85% of enterprises currently implement a multicloud strategy—up from 82% in 2016.]
So wouldn’t it be nice if there was a fast way to monitor and manage any app, anywhere you need it, and to be able to economically scale as needed?
Reducing complexity is the only way to support both existing and new applications, ensure service delivery, maintain control over data, and achieve necessary performance. This need is fueling demand for hyperconverged solutions because they are one of the best ways to deliver the wide range of support that IT organizations must provide.
Cisco HyperFlex delivers the agility, scalability, and pay-as-you-grow economics of the cloud with the benefits of on-premises infrastructure.
And what if that HCI solution worked with your existing data center to give end-to-end (and unified) oversight of the compute, storage and networking environments?
Cisco HyperFlex is the only HCI solution that can offer that end-to-end, unified oversight. And with HyperFlex you get the consistent, fast performance needed to run your most mission critical workloads. With Cisco Validated Designs, certification for workloads like SAP, and performance testing that blows away the competition, HyperFlex not only provides a simple to use platform but a powerful platform that can run any application, anywhere.
And when you deploy and manage HyperFlex with the cloud-based Cisco Intersight, you can manage all your locations around the world, from your core data centers to edge locations, through one pane of glass. You don’t even need IT experts at your edge locations. Simply ship HyperFlex to your edge locations and have the technical experts manage deployments remotely. Once deployed, Intersight continues to provide benefits with analytics and insights on our HyperFlex systems to help drive intelligent and autonomous decision making, helping you optimize your HyperFlex environment and identify and address trouble spots before they become major issues.
“HX in 5” – Partner Sales version and Partner Engineer version
Cisco HyperFlex new-generation technology extends the ease of hyperconverged system deployment, management, and support beyond your central data center to enhance business security through disaster-recovery capabilities. This powerful, adaptive infrastructure allows integration of your existing infrastructure.
The result is a cluster that can be deployed easily in an hour or less, that scales resources independently to closely match your application resource needs, and that enables native replication to protect your vital business data.
Q: Does your HCI solution include all of this? A: Automation, Compute resources, Hypervisor, Enterprise Data Services, Storage and Compute Configurations, Network, Orchestration, Storage Capacity. Cisco HyperFlex is the only end-to-end integrated h/w and s/w that solves the problem.
Q: Do you understand the key differentiators? A: Cisco HyperFlex is engineered on Cisco UCS to deliver a complete hyperconvergence of compute, storage and networking. Combining the power of UCS and the HX Data Platform, which has been written specifically for HCI deployments, Cisco HyperFlex delivers up to 3X higher VM density and significantly better performance consistency compared to leading HCI offerings. Cisco HyperFlex is the first hyperconverged system to pass stringent SAP SD Benchmark testing on a server in a hyperconverged cluster. Nutanix claims to have been first, but they fail to tell customers that the test was not run on a Nutanix hyperconverged cluster, but rather on bare metal.
Cisco HX is not as simple to set up and manage compared to other hyperconverged infrastructure competitors.
HX is the only HCI solution with end-to-end management of compute, storage, and networking. Other HCI companies don’t have networking functions up and running after configuration. And when you want to ensure a safe and secure migration of data, applications, and workloads to HyperFlex systems, our services experts are here to help. We offer:
Cisco HX is late to market and is now a “me too” solution.
Many early software-defined storage (SDS) solutions lacked maturity and went through painful iterations before being considered stable enough for many workloads, just as hypervisors did. Cisco has been rigorously testing many different SDS vendor offerings for the past 2 years, developing expertise and choosing to partner and go to market with the best solutions for customers’ overall needs.
Cisco HX lacks features. HX was developed to offer the market a hyperconverged infrastructure solutions with hardware and software fully engineered together. The HX data platform allows Cisco to incorporate a very rich roadmap for Cisco UCS, and simultaneously differentiate powerful capabilities (through Cisco ACI and hybrid cloud integrations) that competitors simply cannot support.
